These are ORB PRO (Knightfall) results. Raven, Stack and the other indicators don't grade or filter trades and have no backtest of their own, so these numbers aren't theirs.

01The engine

Every trade is measured in R: its result divided by that trade's own stop. That keeps these numbers the same at any risk setting. Risk and Flag Sizing change position size, not which trades fire or how they end.

Profit factor, every year

By grade

Profit factor in R. Grade sets size: A+ to B+ full, B 75%, C+ and C 50%. D and F aren't traded.

By warning flags on the breakout

Stop past a prior day/week high or low · overnight move against the 4H trend · entry 15–60 min after the ORB

Fewer flags, stronger trades. That's why Flag Sizing halves size at 2+ flags instead of skipping the trade.

02What we run

Two recommended setups, plus the engine with everything off and the original V1 for comparison. Net is in R so setups at different risk compare fairly.

Max drawdown is closed-trade, peak to trough. Every other combination of settings is your own configuration.

VariantHow exits work. V2 Runner holds full size for TP2 and trails the stop. V1 Stock takes profit at TP1. Custom unlocks every setting. We run V2. V3 Fixed Stop is experimental and not recommended for NY.
Risk per tradeSets position size. Same trades at every setting. More risk means bigger swings, not a better edge.Size so the "plan for" figure fits your account.
Flag SizingHalves size when 2 or more warning flags show on a breakout, never below 1 contract. Never skips a trade. On from $400 risk: about 20% less drawdown, about 10% less net. Little effect at $250, where most trades are already 1 contract.
Daily loss limitStops new entries for the day once closed losses reach your number. Never closes an open trade.About 1.5–2× your risk. A safety rail for a bad day, not an edge.

Check the numbers yourself

Every trade, every setup, in NinjaTrader's Trades format, so a file loads straight into the Trade Importer. Each entry name carries the grade, flag count and stop in points: L1-A+-F2-S45.25 is a long, grade A+, 2 flags, 45.25-point stop.

Every setup and calculator row above is rebuilt from the raw export using the strategy's own sizing rules, and checked trade for trade against separate NinjaTrader runs. Commission and slippage vary by broker. How these figures are produced →
